Most important paragraph:- A JOURNEY BY BOAT
The other day I boated to Nabadwip with some of my friends. We started early in the morning. It was a fine morning. The whole nature seemed to be bathed in the mellow light of the rising sun. A gentle breeze was blowing and there were ripples on the river. The boat was slightly swaying and we had pleasurable sensation. Both the banks of the river looked very beautiful. Children were playing on the banks, while their mothers were bathing in the river. One of my friends played on his violin. The music produced by the violin mingled with the murmur of water, and we were regaled with a sweet symphony. We reached Nabadwip at noon. We went to a garden nearby and had a picnic there. We also visited some temples and worshipped the deities.
It was evening when the boat started returning. Gradually darkness descended upon the earth. The trees on either side of the river looked like giants. After an hour or two the moon was up in the sky and the green fields, bathed as they were in the faint light of the moon, looked simply charming.
The pleasant boat-trip had a soothing effect on me and served to remove my boredom. It always haunts my memory.
