Today we will announce a popular paragraph which is A JOURNEY BY TRAIN.
On the 5th ultimo I went to Kalyan by train. As soon as I reached the Howrah station the train was put into the platform. In no time the compartments were packed to the capacity. Though I did not reserve my seat I was lucky enough to find a seat by the side of a window.
The train steamed off from the Howrah station just in time. As it sped past stations after stations I looked out of the window and began to enjoy the rural scenes. Heavily loaded bullock carts were moving along the uneven village roads with a creaking sound. Cattles were returning home leaving a trail of dust behind. Villagers were bathing in ponds after their day's toil. As night fell I looked at the sky and saw stars twinkle round the full moon.
After the train had left Nagpur, I noticed a complete change in the landscape. Instead of green fields I saw green mountains extending over miles after miles. Here and there were seen temples on mountain tops. The train dashed on past mountains and plains and reached Kalyan. I got down from the train and went out of the station, with mind brimming over with joy.
