If I Were the Prime Minister of India: 5 Major Reforms I Would Introduce

an is fond of imagining himself as richer and more powerful than he actually is. I am not an exception. I often fancy becoming the Prime Minister of India. The Prime Minister is the most powerful man in India. He can do anything for the good or bad of the people.
If I become the Prime Minister I will make India' a happy and prosperous country. My first task will be to root out corruption from the field of administration. I will order for the strict enforcement of the laws against bribery. An employee guilty of bribery will be sentenced to life imprisonment. The employees must be punctual and regular or they will be sacked. The greatest evil in India today is the big gap between the rich and the poor, and not its poverty. The gap must be reduced for India's steady progress. With this end in view, I will nationalise all the profit-making industries, deal with black-ma-rketeers and hoarders with an iron hand, hunt up the black money and freeze the bank credit in excess of Rs. 3,00,000.
No country can progress unless the people are educated. I will therefore make education compulsory for all. An adult education centre will be set up in every village. I will bring in great changes in India's foreign policy. The present policy of peaceful coexistence will be kept up, but that of appeasement given up. I will order for the manufacture of atom bombs, for I believe that power begets honour.
