The Day When Everything Went Wrong: A Real Life Nightmare!

I
had a very bad day last Thursday. I got up much later than usual, for the alarm-clock had gone out of order. I hurriedly washed myself and sat down to my study. Mother brought me a cup of tea. I began to sip my tea in a hurry, and got my tongue burnt. I felt out of sorts. While I was doing my school-task, my pen slipped from my hand and fell on the floor. The nib was broken. I had to leave the task unfinished. Then a piercing cry was heard outside. I was going to dart out from the room, and I bumped my head against the door.
I had my bath at 9-30 a.m. and went to the dining-room. While I was having my meal a fish-bone stuck in my throat, and I had to move heaven and earth to get the bone pushed down the throat. I left the meal unfinished.
I went to the bus-stand. A bus came. It was jam-packed. As I was late for school I boarded it I elbowed my way through the crowd. and in the process I collided with a lady. She swore at me. At school the teacher in English took me to task for not doing the home-task While I was returning home in an over-crowded bus my pocket was picked. At night I discovered that I had left my English textbook. I did not know where. I wondered if a man had ever such a bad day.
